Being a mom to young adult sons is quite the adventure. At 22 and 24, they’re fully grown but still very much my kids, and navigating their lives is truly a hoot. They’re complete opposites, yet each somehow inherited the most challenging traits from both me and their father—so yes, the struggle is real. They’re still finishing their college degrees and have hobbies I never would’ve imagined affording at their age. When I was their age, I was living on my own and working full time. Sometimes I can’t help but wonder if those fancy hobbies would survive a rent payment. I honestly struggle to understand how young adults manage life these days… or is this all just another side effect of social media?
